Most gardens aren't flat. Retaining walls and steps are what turn an awkward slope into somewhere you'd actually sit, and they are the part that has to be right underneath, where nobody sees it.

Sandstone, porcelain and block paving, laid to fall on a base that won't move.

Permeable block paving, resin and shingle drives, cobble edging and entrances.

Retaining and garden walls in local stone, brick and sleepers, built to hold ground back properly.
04Decking & pergolas
Timber and composite decks, pergolas and shade structures, framed to last more than a couple of summers.
05Fencing, gates & screening
Close-board, estate and post-and-rail fencing, slatted screens and gates, set to take an Oxfordshire winter.
06Raised beds & planting
Built-in planting, turf and drainage designed as part of the layout, not bolted on at the end.

A new-build garden that had never drained properly. We dug the whole plot out, put drainage in under the turf, and laid a porcelain terrace off the back doors.

Who you're hiring
Three of us. All on site.
JBM is Joe, Ben and Luke. We started in 2024 and we've been booked solid ever since, mostly on word of mouth and whatever people have seen on Instagram.
There's no sales team and no subcontractors. The people who come and quote your garden are the same ones who build it. That's the whole reason the detail holds up.
